Since we are still kind of new to the city of Atlanta it’s always fun to find new places that are popping up around the city. Here’s our weekend recap through my Instagram stories, we had fun and got out of the routine. If you know of any cool spots we need to check out please let me know!

Friday, 7:00p
We had our friends over for dinner. I made pasta for them, using this recipe. For dessert, we had tiramisu (not made by me, lol!) and coffee. The food was awesome, we laughed and had great conversations till 12a.

Saturday, 11:00a
Headed down to the city, we currently live about 30 minutes away from Atlanta. Our first stop was at the Switchyards All-City Downtown Club. We wanted to check out the space since we’ve been on the hunt for a creative workspace that we can use from time to time to get away from the house since both my husband and I mostly work from home. We fell in love with the concept and got a membership! The best part is free coffee, tea, and magazines while you’re there working, taking calls or just networking!

Saturday, 1:00pm
Quick lunch at Chipotle. It was cloudy and rainy all day.

Saturday, 2:30pm
Headed over to Murphy’s for dessert.

Saturday, 3:30pm
Visited Ponce City Market. If you are ever in Atlanta I highly recommend you go there. It’s a historic building full of restaurants and unique stores. We hung out here for a while and then headed to dinner.

Saturday, 6:00pm
Dinner at Minero’s. They have THE best burrito I’ve ever tried! The best part of our day was when my husband snuck over to their flower shop and surprised me with flowers during dinner.

Sunday, 12:00pm
Attended church. Later had lunch with the family and a late meeting. Even though I didn’t take down my Christmas tree, which was on my to-do list I’m glad I got out of the norm. We had a great weekend with friends and our kids!
