Easy holiday Glam

Being a new mom made me realize that having a lot of time to get ready whenever I’m going out is truly a luxury once you have kids. With Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve around the corner I want to make sure I’m able to get ‘glammed up’ within minutes. I ran to my friend, Aravany, who happens to work at MAC (#friendgoals, right?) for some help. I mean…look at these looks she did, both pictures are her creations done for a recent shoot she styled and did the make-up for. She shared her pro-tips with me and the most used and sold products during this season. Let’s get to it girls…

For a Holiday glam look you can’t leave the house without these:

These lashes (#36) are the best for a glam look.

The ultimate MAC staple of course, their lipstick in Ruby Woo and to make sure it lasts through your New Year’s kiss 😉 make sure to use the lip liner in the same color.

For your eyes, if you don’t want to get too complicated, or simply don’t have the time for it, she recommends their eyeshadow in ‘All that Glitters’ – you can use it in your inner lid to open up the eye and add a bit of sparkly.

And lastly, my favorite part – highlighter! I can’t tell you how much I love this stuff, I use it everyday. Aravany recommend this highlighter from MAC that all the customers are going crazy over.
